the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, in collaboration with the “Saudi Made” program, developed a gold tier that indicates the level of contribution of products and services from companies holding the label to local content development, to be a recognition for distinguished national companies in developing local content and a support for a sustainable national economy in line with the objectives of the National Strategy for Industry in order to serve the goals and aspirations of the Saudi Vision 2030

It’s worth to mention that FIPCO has also won the first place in the private sector category and received the Excellence Award in Local Content for Large Establishments in the Industrial and Mining Sector from the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA), on the last edition of local content award, which was previously announced on Tadawul website on Feb. 18, 2024.

Whereas local content focuses on raising and maximizing the national purchasing power aimed at building a strong and sustainable economy, and based on FIPCO’s constant keenness to play its role towards society and its contribution to achieving the goals of the wise leadership by raising the proportion of local content in the national economy, and since the local content standard is one of the most prominent standards that is considered In order to evaluate companies, FIPCO has developed a strategic plan and harnessed all available capabilities to increase its local content score, and focus on increasing its exports and even for its subsidiary through exhibiting the main products in the specialized trade shows by the great support of Saudi Export & EXIM Bank.

FIPCO always seeks to achieve the highest possible benefit from all initiatives and programs offered by government agencies through the “Vision Programs Achievement Committee,” which was formed by the company’s executive management in line with the Board of Directors’ strategy, as obtaining the Excellence Award in Local Content for large establishments in the industrial and mining sector, and obtaining Saudi Made “GOLD TEIR” in addition to a large number of the company’s products and its subsidiary’s obtaining the Saudi Quality Mark, will enhance the confidence of customers from the private sector and government agencies, achieves the company’s marketing goals, and contributes effectively to penetrating new regional and global markets.

FIPCO will continue to implement and support initiatives that increase its local content score through recruiting and headhunting Saudi skilled people and investing in research and development initiatives and will save no efforts to ensure that these awards become an ongoing achievement that FIPCO seeks to obtain occasionally.
